Do you know if there are any tours for the Corsham site? I've got a local Scout group who would love the chance to see a secret underground world right beneath their feet but it would have to be lead my an experienced person.

Visited Monkton Farleigh with my son at the weekend & found Ammo Case Valley.Someone must have sent the the cleaners around, compared with Higgypop's picture posted less than a year ago it's almost empty. There is just a(huge)pile of shells at the mine entrance end of the valley now!

My photo is probably about 10/11 years old now, I guess since then they've been trampled on, rusted away and buried.

I used to go to the Monkton Farleigh tunnels about 15years ago, you used to be able to walk around most of the underground areas acess was via district 20 down a long sloping tunnel. I believe the entrance is now blocked, but I know that the farmer is (fairly) friendly & Has (Had) acess. although I explored the area I never found Shell case valley... Wish I had! now living in Australia so a bit far to travel!
Must share HOW we located several underground sites.... we used to get old maps that showed steam railway tunnels, cross ref with modern maps... If the tunnel has been "Dissapeared" then it is probably packed with Goodies by the MOD!

these photos are not of eastlays but of the mod site on westwells road. eastlays is down a road called green road which is a no through road.at the end you come to 2 sets of gates. the ones to the left take you to eastlays. public path so no worries on security. at the end of the path you come to the rear of eastlays and the old emergency exit.

Hey, Burlington has been sold now. rnI dont plan on doing any breaking and entering, but i was wondering if there are still ways in to it? Ive come across old entrances on my travels, all blocked up. rnCuriosity is begging me to ask more questions!

There is a place called "Sand Hill Park" in Bishops Lydeard its a very exciting place it has been on a show called Totally Haunted. The problem is you would have to get permission to go inside and im 16 so i have no chance of getting that sort of permission but if you look it up on google and go to the very first one there are some very interesting videos and the end of the page. Hello

I have only just joined and I'm not sure I'm on the right page, sorry.
Does anyone know Salford, Greater Manchester?
I have found a intriguing modern single storey building there which is distinguished by there being no sign to say what it is, and the fact that you have to walk down a long corridor between tall interlocking fences with several CCTV cameras to get to what seems to be the main (?only?) entrance.
Thanks.

Why has it just been left? Could it not be used in some way?

I have been to Imber on each occasion it has been served by Routemaster buses one day a year for the past three years (2009, 2010, 2011) and I expect a service will run again in future years. Last year money raised was donated to the church and this year it was donated to the British Legion.
