Having been in the TA for many years I have trained at Imber many times , & going back to my first visit in the late 80s the church was out of bounds . I am glad to see tonight on songs of praise that this church is now open over 48 days a year to the public . Let's hope the word gets out & I look forward to a visit

A small farming village requisitioned by the War Department in 1943, the residents were evicted and the village has been hidden from the public on Salisbury Plain ever since. Read more
